Meet the Team

Betsy Bearden is an accomplished writer and published cookbook author who has provided professional creative writing services to corporate clients and individuals since establishing her business in 2007. Ms. Bearden’s articles have been featured in GreenPrints magazine, Georgia Writer’s magazine, and nine issues of State-by-State Gardening. Her extensive journalistic portfolio includes serving as a reporter for The Paulding Neighbor newspaper and working as a regular contributing writer for Life-Line, a bimonthly newsletter published by Life Grocery during its tenure in Marietta, Georgia.

Throughout her career, she has developed high-quality website content, articles, blogs, newsletters, and business documents for a diverse clientele. Portfolio samples are available through Creative Writes Writing Services of Atlanta. Prior to launching her consultancy, she gained valuable experience across a variety of industries.

In addition to her writing career, Ms. Bearden served as a volunteer chef at the Kroger School of Cooking in Alpharetta, Georgia. There, she trained under the tutelage of Chef Bernard Kinsella—formerly the head chef to Nathalie Dupree—and served as his sous chef for the locally broadcast cable television production Cooking with Bernard. She has also volunteered for Chef John Szymanski, who currently serves as Kroger’s Food Safety Manager for the Southeastern Atlanta division.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution featured her cookbook in two dedicated articles, noting, “Its Southern roots make it folksy, and worthy of purchasing.”

Ms. Bearden is an alumna of Kennesaw State University, where she earned a professional certificate in Creative Writing.
