These articles were written for Sandy Springs Toyota. The dealership was sold to new owners. The new owners created their own website, which did not include these articles. More articles were written than you could shake a stick at, but here a  few of my favorites. If you are a fan of Toyota, welcome and enjoy. The 20th Century realized more changes than any other century before it, and at a rapid pace. Among the many changes one, in particular, was transportation. History of the Toyota Corona (Toyopet Crown)

Many people know about the beloved Toyota Corolla, but most have never heard of the Toyota Corona. The Corolla and Corona were sometimes confused with one another, but the Corolla was smaller than the Corona and it actually started out as the Toyopet Crown. The Toyopet Crown was made from leftover parts from an earlier model Crown in the early ’50s, and it was slated to become the flagship car for Toyota in America.

If you had to describe to someone in one word what a Toyota Truck is, it would be dependable. The first Toyota truck was produced in Japan in 1935. It was the model G1. Farmers predominantly used the truck at the time, and the trucks were used for early military units until more advanced models were produced. Years later, the first Toyota “Stout” was introduced to America in 1964. However, the Stout was not well received.

The FJ Cruiser is a retro version of the classic and beloved FJ40 Land Cruiser that was popular in the U.S. between 1960 and 1984. HISTORY OF THE TOYOTA TUNDRA

The Toyota Tundra Crew Max will go down in history as the truck that gave the Space Shuttle, Endeavour, its last ride. Yes, it’s all that, and more. A commercial was made of the event and it aired during the 2013 Super Bowl where the whole world sat and watched the Toyota Endeavour flex its unmodified muscles as it carefully towed the space shuttle to retirement at the California Science Center. Talk about “Let’s Go Places.” Yeah, it’s a pretty good bet that it’s gonna haul whatever you need.
